Ideas for Family Home Evening
- If your schedule doesn't permit you to hold Family Home Evening on Monday nights, choose a night more convenient for your family.
- Couples whose children are grown or who do not have children can still hold meaningful Family Home Evenings together or can join with other couples to have formal Family Home Evenings.
- For families with little children, use the nursery manual as a Family Home Evening lesson manual.
- If you are pressed for time (or not), read an article from a church magazine and discuss it.
- If someone in your family (or your entire family) is struggling with something in particular, plan a lesson to help everyone through it.
- Celebrate holidays! Have special lessons for holidays to learn more as a family about Valentine's Day, Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, St. Patrick's Day, etc.
